Set on 300 acres in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine region, Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort is surrounded by vineyards and rolling hills, offering a relaxed, scenic setting for the conference.

The Hunter Valley is home to more than 150 cellar doors, along with a range of restaurants, galleries and local produce, making it easy to extend your stay and explore the region before or after the event.

The resort itself offers a range of on-site accommodation, dining options and recreational facilities, including swimming pools, a golf course and a day spa, so you can relax and unwind between sessions.

GETTING THERE

  • The nearest airport is Newcastle Airport (around 1 hour away), with Sydney Airport approximately 2 hours' drive for those coming from interstate.

  • Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort is easily accessible by car, approximately 2 hours from Sydney and 55 minutes from Newcastle.

    Taxis in the Hunter Valley area and can be pre-booked for reliability.

    Uber also operates locally, though availability can be limited at peak times, so we recommend booking your taxi or rideshare in advance where possible.

  • The nearest train station is Maitland Station, approximately 35 minutes by car from the resort. There is no direct public transport connection to the venue, so if travelling by train, we recommend arranging a taxi transfer from Maitland Station.
